START - Students Tackling Alcohol and Resisting Temptations was established in April of 2006 as a coalition of Midland County youth
dedicated to preventing underage and illegal use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.

Our mission is to educate teens of the dangers and consequences that accompany the use of these substances
and to provide youth with the skills to resist negative peer pressure.

Start members are seeking to "grow" their organization to include all Midland County high schools.  
START youth strive to serve as 'ambassadors" of our community to represent youth
making positive choices.

    alcohol retailers.
